LOVE this place!! Got a brand new kitty and named him shark. I love him so much he is my best pal.. however in his previous home he has leaned to drink out of straws. Whenever I leave a drink on the coffee table with a straw in it and only leave for TEN seconds I come back and it’s GONE 😭💔 …

Covered all medical costs and micro chipping. Affordable with very friendly staff. A beautiful shelter with all ages of kitties. Environment is clean, open, & interactive. Kitties seem happy & healthy.

Took me some time to decide if to write this or not, but I feel people should make an informed decision before adopting from this shelter. I adopted Cashmere in February/March of this year. I was told she had an infection in her eye when found and that her eye had been removed. The week I picked her up her eye got infected which I found odd since it was closed and healed. I took her to my vet, they provided antibiotics but advised an eye specialist would be the way to go. $3k later, and months of back and forth, come to find out the eye was never removed! She was born with a small eye (I forget the medical term for it) and they (the shelter) stitched it shut….in a span of 6 months she had 4 infections until finally the eye specialist said they would need to do surgery. I asked RMFR for assistance early on as I let them know what my vet and the eye specialist said as well as the cost. I received no assistance nor a reply. Should you chose to adopt from this shelter please know that either they lie to potential adopters, or the vet they use got their degree from wish.

Awesome place, and temporary home for many foster cats. If you're looking for a kitty to bring home this is a great place to find one. Super cool environment for the cats where they can be themselves and you know what kind of kitty your bringing home! They also took in three kittens that I found abandoned and couldn't care for. I left knowing this was the right place and the kittens were safe. Thank you Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue!

Extremely difficult to find and unreasonable Wait time to get a cat. You have to return 24 to 48 hrs after spending time filling out adoption forms. No information on cats health or condition. You're on your own.
